Who are we?
Teignmouth Sings is a community choir, formed in 2009 by David Roberts, for people who like to sing for fun. On these pages you can find links to our forthcoming performances, details of our press coverage and information on how to join us. We have recently joined The National Association of Choirs.
Last year, we celebrated our 10th Anniversary with a wonderful performance at The Riviera. Our most recent fundraising event was our Family Christmas Concert at St Michael’s Church. See our News page for the review, along with those of past events.
Locally, we have become well known for our wide and ever-increasing repertoire of songs. We are currently learning new songs for our Summer Concert, at Teignmouth Pavilions on 6th June. This is a new venue for Teignmouth Sings, and we are excited about performing there.
Interested in joining?
Due to our popularity, membership is now at almost full capacity and our waiting list is closed, until September 2020. We may have vacancies in the Tenor and Bass sections, if you are able to sing in either of these (women or men). In order for new members to gain the most from their experience, it is recommended that they start their membership at the beginning of term, in September or January.
