Who are we?
Teignmouth Sings is a community choir, formed in 2009 by David Roberts, for people who like to sing for fun. On these pages you can find links to our forthcoming performances, details of our press coverage and information on how to join us.
Teignmouth Sings is now a member of The National Association of Choirs.
in 2019, we celebrated our 10th Anniversary with a wonderful performance at The Riviera. Our most recent fundraising event was our Family Christmas Concert at St Michael’s Church. See our News page for the review, along with those of past events. Locally, we have become well known for our wide and ever-increasing repertoire of songs.
The ongoing pandemic has, as with every other choir, put all rehearsals and performances on hold. Now that we are able to sing together again, we are very much looking forward to resuming our rehearsals, in September 2021. We have planned performances, including a Family Christmas Concert at St Michael’s Church and a Summer Concert at Teignmouth Pavilions. Both these performances are yet to be confirmed, due to social distancing restrictions.
Interested in joining?
Membership is now at full capacity, but if you are interested in joining, your name can be added to our waiting list. We may have earlier vacancies in the Tenor and Bass sections, if you are able to sing in either of these (women or men). In order for new members to gain the most from their experience, it is recommended that they start their membership at the beginning of term.
